1What this is
The 100K Step Club app is a community step-tracking app: it reads your daily step count (with your permission), shows your progress and tier, tracks a personal Journey, and lets you follow friends and see each other's daily steps. By using the app you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
2Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
3Your steps, honestly
The club runs on trust: the point is to actually walk. Don't falsify, spoof, or manipulate step data. We may remove records or accounts that game the system, especially around events and any verified standings.
4Health and safety — read this
Walking long distances, and especially attempting very high step counts in a single day, is physically demanding. The app is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a doctor. Train gradually, plan food, water, weather protection, route support, rest, and a safe way home. Stop if you feel unwell or unsafe. Consult a qualified professional before taking on a big challenge, particularly if you have any health condition. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
5Your content and conduct
You're responsible for what you post (your @handle, display name, profile photo, and anything you share). Don't impersonate others, harass anyone, upload unlawful or abusive content, or use the app for anything unlawful. Use the in-app report and block controls when another member crosses the line. We may remove content or accounts to protect the community.
6The service, as-is
We're building this in the open and improving it continuously. The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that step data, notifications, or availability will be perfect or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
7Ending it
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from within the app. If you lose app access, use the web deletion request. We may suspend or end access for conduct that breaks these terms.
8Changes
We may update these terms; we'll update the effective date and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
9Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
